Oman-Mubasher: United Finance Co announced in a filing to Muscat Securities Market (MSM) that the ordinary general meeting is scheduled to be held on March 22 to discuss the capital increase, as well as dividend distributions.

The company’s capital is expected to rise from OMR 27.5 million to OMR 500 million, according to the statement.

In addition, the Board proposed a dividend representing seven percent of the capital (OMR seven per share) and a bonus share of 13% (13 shares for every 100 shares).

The unaudited preliminary results for the company for the fiscal year (FY) ended 31 December, 2014, revealed a jump in profit by 36% to OMR 4.9 million ($12.6 million) compared to OMR 3.6 million ($9.3 million) during FY13.
