Muscat – Mubasher: The Muscat Securities Market (MSM) shut Monday’s trading in the positive zone, continuing with its rally for the seventh successive session.

The index rose as much as 0.16% or 10.14 points to close at 6297 points. Meanwhile, the Sharia index gained 0.18% to 957 points.

The services sector was the top gainer, with a rise of 0.52%, while financial sector was the biggest loser, with a fall of 0.21%.

Monday’s traded volume amounted to 20.115 million shares, exchanged in 1,313 transactions at OMR 4.167 million.

Global Financial Investment was the best performer, with a 8.77% surge, while HSBC Oman was the worst performer, with a slump of 3.7%.

Global Financial Investment was the top active with traded volume of 4.525 million shares.
