Oman – Mubasher: The Muscat Securities Market (MSM) closed Wednesday at a rise, its third in a row, backed by all its sectors, particularly the industrial one.
The MSM30 index grew 0.32% or 20.42 points to 6,405 points, while Al-Shariah index added 0.27% to 985.89 points.
The industrial sector led risers, adding 0.38%.
Turnover reached OMR 2.703 million as 8.364 million shares changed hands through 675 transactions. A total of 47 companies were traded today, of which 12 declined, 15 gained and 21 remained unchanged.
Global Financial Investment led gainers, rising 3.64%, whereas Oman Textile Holding topped losers, plunging 8.61%.
Al Madina Investment was the most active in terms of traded value reaching 1.237 million shares, while Bank Muscat was the most active in terms of turnover reaching OMR 531,478 shares.
