Mubasher: Muscat Securities Market (MSM) ended Thursday’s session in green, as the benchmark index rose by as much as 0.6% or 34.76 points to close at 5,816.8 points.

Similarly, Sharia Index rose 0.4% to reach 911.76 points.

Thursday’s traded volume amounted to 17.68 million shares, exchanged in 1,125 transactions at turnover reaching MOR 4.26 million ($11.03 million).

Sectors were collectively in green, topped by industrial that grew by 0.77%, followed by financials (+0.58%) and services (+0.28%).

Building Materials stock was the best performer, with a jump of 5.9%, while United Finance was the worst performer with a drop of 4.3%.

Al Anwar Holding topped actives with a traded volume of 4.11 million shares, while Omnivest recorded the biggest traded value of OMR 948,000.
