Mubasher: Al Hassan Engineering Co. said it was awarded two projects, one in Oman and one in Abu Dhabi, UAE, at a total of $19.25 million ($7.4 million).
The company said it received a letter of award from Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) for the Mabrouk Pipeline Construction Project for $12 million within a 13-month period, according to a filing to the Muscat Securities Market (MSM) on Sunday.
The Oman-based engineering firm also announced that its 49% subsidiary Al Hassan Engineering Co. Abu Dhabi LLC has been awarded a letter of award for $7.250 million from M/S GS Engineering & Construction, Korea.
The seven-month project scheduled to begin in October entails civil works at Rumaitha-Shanayel phase-III project.
The engineering firm said it expects reasonable income from both projects.
Al Hassan previously announced narrowing its half-year losses by 25.3% to OMR 1.345 million ($3.48 million), compared to OMR 1.8 million ($4.66 million) in the same period in 2014.
