KSA to host renewable energy seminar
ACanadian trade delegation arrived in Saudi Arabia on Oct. 27 to meet Saudi officials and major companies with a special focus on renewable energy in the Kingdom, according to Arab News.
Canada’s first renewable energy mission will visit the King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy (KACARE), Saudi Electricity Co. (SEC), ACWA Power and other industry leaders, said Canadian Ambassador Thomas MacDonald.
The envoy said Canada’s Deputy Minister of International Trade Simon Kennedy and the chairman of the Saudi Arabia Solar Industry Association (SASIA) will host a business seminar for the mission Wednesday at the Al Mashreq Boutique Hotel.
The seminar is to introduce Canadian companies to Saudi partners for renewable energy projects in the Kingdom and elsewhere in the Middle East.
