King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam is set to issue a new tender to complete its solar power project which aims to lower the high costs of traditional energy, Makkah newspaper reported citing a first-hand source at the port.
He added that the new tender is to use the solar energy in all streets and port facilities.
On the sidelines of Dubai Lighting Exhibition, the Sales Director at Italy’s RC- LUCE said the Saudi government seeks to turn into energy-saving sources, adding that his company will bid for this tender through its distributor in the Kingdom.
