The study of Saudi-Bahraini causeway project is likely to be finalized in early 2015, Saudi Al-Sharq newspaper reported quoting Badr Al-Otaishan, director of King Fahad Causeway Authority.
The project timing and cost will be defined according to this study.
Al-Otaishan added that there are no current estimates for the project cost, noting that the cost will be defined according to the feasibly study which includes all execution details.
Mohammad Suwaiket, president of Saudi Railways, said the bridge will include a track for trains and another for vehicles, pointing out that the final designs have not been completed.
