Dr. Mohamed Al-Khatrawi, chairman of Madinah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said Madinah is currently witnessing the implementation of projects at a total value of nearly SAR 500 billion, according to local media.
He added that the projects include King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz project for expanding the Prophet’s Mosque at a cost of more than SAR 70 billion, in addition to the project of Dar Al-Hijrah Co. at a cost of SAR 55 billion, Al-Riyadh newspaper reported.
Al-Khatrawi also said the projects include the expansion of Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Airport at a cost of SAR 6 billion and Haramain High-Speed Rail project at a cost of SAR 10.76 billion, as well as Knowledge City project at a cost of SAR 25 billion.
