Eng. Sultan Shawli, undersecretary of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, unveiled a study to establish new mining complexes to meet investor needs in Asir province, South of Saudi Arabia.
Shawli said this step aims to lure investments to the region in the mining industry, and meet the needs of development projects in the region, according to Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper.
The Ministry of Petroleum implements a strategy aiming to increase investment opportunities in the field of exploring mineral resources and providing incentives as well as safe and attractive investment environment, the top official said.
