Atwo-day Omani-Saudi Investment and Trade Forum will be held tomorrow, Monday, December 22, in Oman.
The Forum is organized by the Public Authority for Investment Promotion and Export Development (Ithraa), reported Muscat Daily.
Such Forum comes within the plan of Ithraa to boost cooperation, trade, and investment exchange between the two countries, as Saud Arabia enjoys the biggest economy in terms of the volume of investments in the region.
The Forum will focus on several themes including investment atmosphere in Oman, aquaculture, food sector, heath services, financial and banking services, logistics and free zones sector, and tourism sector.
Moreover, the second day of the Forum, December 23, will include field visit to the Special Economic Zone of Duqm, the drydock, the port, and tourism projects.
Noteowrthy, the Omani non-oil exports to Saudi Arabia had surged by more than 90% in 2013.
