Yanbu Cement Co. (YCC) posted SAR 193 million net earnings for the fourth quarter of 2014, rising 20.63% from SAR 160 million in Q4 2013 and 18.4% from SAR 163 million in Q3 2014.
The full-year net earnings fell 2.31% year-on-year from SAR 821 million to SAR 802 million.
The earnings per share (EPS) decreased from SAR 5.21 to SAR 5.09.
The cement producer ascribed Q4 profit growth y/y and q/q to higher sales and lower sale costs on improved operating efficiency.
The full-year profit decline was due to lower sales on weak demand.
