Saudi dairy producer Almarai Co. said it received SAR 250 million on Wednesday from Arabian Shield Insurance in compensation for a fire at one of its bakeries.

The payment on account is not in respect to a specific claim item, but intended only as a general on account payment until the full extent of the claim is assessed and finalised, Almarai added in a bourse statement.

The received amount will be registered in financial statements for the first quarter of 2015.
