Riyadh-Mubasher: The Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) reversed a five-day downward trend, rising 0.53% or 50.70 points to reach 9,541 level.

More than 140 million shares changed hands through over 90,000 transactions, at a turnover exceeding SAR 4.5 billion.

Three sectors declined, led by the energy which dropped 0.32%. Meanwhile, 12 sectors advanced, topped by the transport which climbed 2.22%.

Rounding up equities, 115 advanced, spearheaded by Takaful Al-Rajhi which gained 4.57% to SAR 33.90, followed by Saudi Transport which was up 4.03% to SAR 74.

On the other hand, 32 stocks declined, led by SAICO which slid 1.94% to SAR 26.80, followed by Alujain which shed 1.41% to SAR 22.35.

SABIC, which added 0.99% to SAR 103.50, was the most active in terms of traded value with SAR 396.6 million. Meanwhile, Alinma Bank led in trading volume with 14.8 million shares. The stock was up 0.63%.
