Riyadh-Mubasher: Saudi Arabia giant petrochemical producer Sabic has spent SAR 2.7 billion on social responsibilities over the last 10 years, said Maged Abo Obaid, an official of social responsibility.

The last programme conducted by the company was ‘SABIC Specialized Hospital for Mental Health and Addiction Treatment’ whose SAR 300 million contract was signed before the holy month of Ramadan, Abo Obaid said during the closing ceremony of the ‘Back to School’ Programme.

Sabic launched the ‘Back to School’ programme in various regions of the kingdom, coinciding with the new school year.

The programme was conducted in partnership with the Ministry of Social Affairs and in collaboration with the Sabic Employees Charity Fund (BERR).
