National Chlorine Industries Co turned to JOD 171.8 thousand losses in the first half of 2014 from JOD 3.2 thousand profits in the same period of 2013.

Financial statements of the company showed that net sales declined by 56.8% to JOD 368 thousand against JOD 852.2 thousand in the first half of the last year.

Losses per share hit JOD 0.019 in the first half this year while earnings per share reached JOD 0.003 in the first half of the last year.

The company had achieved profit jump during the second quarter of 2014 to JOD 174.2 thousand compared to JOD 1.75 thousand in the same period of 2013.
