National Cable and Wire Manufacturing Co turned to profits of JOD 8.04 thousand in the first six months of 2014 against JOD526.26 thousand losses in the same period of 2013.

Profits per share hit JOD 0.0004, while losses per share hit JOD 0.027 in the first half of 2013.

Sales of the company increased by 5.2% to JOD 11 million in H1-14 compared with JOD 10.45 million in H1-13, while sales costs decreased slightly by 0.5% to JOD 10.017 million from JOD 10.068 million, so net sales profits amounted JOD 982.8 thousand in the first half this year compared with JOD 385.3 thousand in the same period last year, with an increase of 155%.

The company’s losses had declined by 78.7% to 134.23 thousand in the second quarter this year, compared with JOD 630.29 thousand in the second quarter last year.
