The turnover of “Magasin Général” increased by 35.95% to TND 337.737 million in the first half of 2014 compared with TND 248.431 million during the same period last year, said broker Mena Capital Partners (MCP).
MCP explains this growth by the addition of six outlets PROMOGRO from the second half of April, 2014.
The ratio of payroll went down from 8.01% at the end of the first half of 2013 to 7.17% at the end of H1 2014, with a peak of 6.73% in the quarter April-June 2014.
Moreover, the company has released its interim financial statements which show a net profit of TND 3.923 million in late June 2014 against TND 1.970 million at June 30, 2013, up 99.14%.
