Manama - Mubasher: Bahrain Bourse’s benchmark closed Monday with a slight decline of 0.07% or 0.99 point to 1,329 pts, hurt by the banking sector.
Turnover reached BHD 169,978, after 338,466 shares changed hands in 34 transactions.
The commercial banks sector was the only decliner, falling 0.19%, as Bahrain Islamic Bank and National Bank of Bahrain dropped 3.57% and 0.46%, respectively.
The services sector rose 0.1%, boosted by Zain Bahrain which was up 1.69%.
Alba, which closed on a flat note, was the most active with a traded value of BHD 65,650.
