Dubai-Mubasher: Emaar Properties, the UAE’s largest developer by market value, said on Saturday that it is negotiating with Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) to establish a joint venture on the Dubai site that will be used to stage the World Expo 2020.

"We are close to completing the project details, and will duly announce them," the developer said in an email to Mubasher.

It was reported on Friday that Emaar plans to build a shopping centre and several hotels on the Dubai site.
