Riyadh – Mubasher: Al Ahli Takaful Company’s ordinary general meeting (OGM) approved yesterday to distribute cash dividends at 5% of the capital for the fiscal year 2015, totalling SAR 8.33 million.

The distribution is the first of its kind since the company’s establishment, according to a bourse filing released on Monday.

The dividend eligibility will be for shareholders registered till the end of trading on the OGM date. Dividends will be deposited into shareholders' accounts as of 26 May.

The company’s net profit before zakat reached SAE 34.4 million in 2015, rising 14% from SAR 30.25 million in 2014.

The stock closed yesterday with a fall of 0.69% to SAR 41.55.
