Doha-Mubasher: Mannai Corporation raised its stake in France’s Gfi informatique to 51%, according to a bourse statement.

Gfi has revenues close to €900 million and employs around 12,000 IT professionals in France and other countries.

In early April, Mannai bought 25% of Gfi’s capital and voting rights at 8.5 euros per share, totalling 16.66 million shares.

Mannai previously said this acquisition is its first step towards to hold a majority stake of 51% in Gfi.
