Mubasher: Bank Nizwa posted a decline by 83.55% in its second-quarter losses, according to a bourse statement.

Losses reached OMR 261,000 ($675,620) in Q2-16, compared to OMR 1.59 million ($4.11 million) in Q2-15.

The bank trimmed losses by 77.28% to OMR 727,000 ($1.88 million) in the first half of 2016, compared to OMR 3.2 million ($8.28 million) in the corresponding period a year earlier.

Operating revenues grew 57% to OMR 7.88 million in H1-16, compared to OMR 5.01 million in H1-15.
