Mubasher: The preliminary financial results showed a 2.15% increase in Oman Investment and Finance’s (OIFC) profits in the second quarter of 2016, according to a bourse filing on Sunday.

The company recorded OMR 1.32 million ($3.39 million) profits in Q2-16, compared to OMR 1.35 million ($3.47 million) in the same period of the preceding year.

Net profits reached OMR 2.86 million in H1-16 from OMR 3.35 million in the six-month period of 2015.

The Muscat-listed company posted OMR 1.543 million profits in Q1-16 down from OMR 2 million in Q2-15.
