Cairo – Mubasher: Alexandria Mineral Oils (AMOC) reported a 63.40% rise in its earnings for the fourth quarter of 2016 (Q4) as well as annual profits’ growth according to a bourse filing.

In the fourth quarter, the company earned EGP 156 million ($17.50 million), compared with EGP 95.36 million ($10.71 million) for the year-ago quarter.

Over the fiscal year 2015/16, the company registered EGP 435.4 million earnings, compared with EGP 340.2 million a year earlier.

Sales value annually declined 32% year-over-year to EGP 437.5 million from EGP 642.8 million.

In the first nine months, the company gained EGP 279.6 million.
