GIS transfers DGCX license to GBCM

Mubasher: Gulf Investment Services Holding (GIS) said Monday that its board of directors approved to transfer the Dubai Gold and Commodities Exchange (DGCX) membership held by the Company to its subsidiary Gulf Baader Capital Markets (GBCM).

According to a bourse filing, the license of DGCX is carried in the accounts of GIS at OMR 38,200 as an intangible asset and shall be written off. 

By 11:40am Muscat time, the stock rose by 1.72% as 101,400 shares were exchanged at OMR 11,900.
