Mubasher: The unaudited financial statements for Al Maha Ceramics Co decreased 41.8% during the third quarter of 2016 as compared to the same period in 2015.

Earnings reached around OMR 371,810 ($962,300) in Q3-16, compared with nearly OMR 638,800 ($1.65 million) in Q3-15, according to a bourse statement issued Wednesday.

In the nine-month period, net profits stood at OMR 1.7 million as compared to OMR 1.9 million in the corresponding period of 2015.

Revenues totalled OMR 6.98 million in the nine months this year, compared with OMR 7.54 million in the same period a year ago; a drop of 7.4% year-on-year.
