Mubasher: Al Madina Takaful Company's profits surged 283.7% year-on-year to OMR 173,590 ($449,320) in the third quarter of 2016 from OMR 45,240 ($117,100).

The company suffered a 31% decrease in net profits after deducting taxes to reach OMR 1.01 million in the first nine months of 2016 from OMR 1.46 million net profits achieved in the same period of the previous year.
