Mubasher: The general assembly of Oman Cement Company approved the board's recommendation to distribute cash dividends for 2016.

The dividends will be distributed at OMR 0.30 per share, representing 30% of the capital, according to a bourse filing on Wednesday.

The company's capital amounts to OMR 33.09 million, distributed over 330.87 million shares at a nominal value of OMR 0.1 per share.

The company's profits grew 10.3% to OMR 12.9 million in 2016 from OMR 11.7 million in 2015.
