Riyadh - Mubasher: Saudi Industrial Investment Group (SIIG) on Sunday announced halting its Saudi Chevron Phillips Company (SCP) project to carry out regular maintenance works and renew catalyst materials.

The suspension period will be 35 days, starting 1 April. The financial impact of suspension will appear in the financial results for the second quarter of 2017, the company clarified in a statement on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul).

SIIG owns a 50% stake in SCP, according to the statement.

SIIG's stock ended Thursday’s trading session at SAR 20.61, down 2.78%.
