Mubasher: Long-term investors in GCC stock markets are buying blue chips again, which stand at technically attractive levels, analysts told Mubasher.

Most Gulf bourses are expected to maintain their sideways-to-bearish performance on Thursday, analysts added.

Traders are focused on heavy-weight stocks, leading to some selling pressures on small-cap stocks, capital market analyst Amir Mansour told Mubasher.

Investors’ sentiment is positively affected by attractive price levels of blue chips, in addition to the recovery of some global stocks, Mansour added.

The GCC stocks, especially in the UAE and Qatar’s markets, are seeing the flow of new liquidity, capital market analyst Hassan Al Zawi said.
