Kuwait - Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Tuesday's session on a mixed performance.

The price index closed stable, while both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices fell 0.37% and 0.51%, respectively.

The market’s liquidity shrank to KWD 17.65 million on Tuesday from KW 18.57 million on Monday, after trading volume increased to 173.63 million shares from 127.7 million.

The insurance sector led the red zone and fell 1.8%, followed by the real estate sector which decreased 0.79%.

The oil and gas sector topped gainers and rose 2.391%, followed by the industry sector which added 0.6%.

Automated systems led the best performers and hiked 9.4%, while Ajwan Gulf Real Estate topped the worst performers and declined 10.75%.

Kuwait Real Estate was the most active in terms of traded value and volumes with 50.5 million shares exchanged at a value of KWD 2.98 million.
