Riyadh – Mubasher: The main index of Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) decreased 0.88% or 61.65 points to 6,915.89 points at Tuesday's close.
Traded values rose to SAR 3.7 billion ($985.6 million) on Tuesday from SAR 2.34 billion ($624 million) on Monday, while traded volume went up to 209.88 million shares compared to 129.3 million shares.
The telecom sector topped the red zone and fell 2.01%, on the back of Saudi Telecom Company (STC) which lost 2.3% to SAR 67.
The material sector also levelled down 1.05%, after SABIC slipped 1.21% to SAR 96.50.
The banks sector shed 0.94%, weighted by Al Rajhi Bank and the National Commercial Bank (NCB) which inched down 1.12% to SAR 63.50 and 1.05% to SAR 38.50, respectively.
