Cairo – Mubasher: Orascom Construction posted on Thursday a consolidated net profit of $53 million for fiscal year 2016, against a consolidated net loss of $334.4 million.

However, the company suffered a standalone net loss of $31.5 million in FY16, versus a standalone net profit of $30.4 million for FY15, according to the company’s unaudited financial statements.

Net income attributable to shareholders amounted to $48.7 million for FY16, against losses worth $347.8 million for FY15.

Earnings before interest and tax reached $99 million in FY16.

Revenues for FY16 amounted to $4 billion, versus $3.88 million for FY15.

Generated operating cash flow reached $256.3 million in FY 16, compared to $201.2 million in FY15.
