Riyadh – Mubasher: The main index of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) went up 0.68% or 46.74 points to reach 6,945.74 points in the week ended 27 April compared to 6,899.9 points last week.

The market’s turnover increased 4% to SAR 15.366 billion, while trading volume levelled up 7.8% to 899.7 million shares.

Tadawul’s market cap grew to reach SAR 1.628 trillion from SAR 1.621 trillion in the previous week.

The material and telecom sectors went down 0.6% and 4.22%, respectively, while the banks sector added 0.77%

Alhokair led gainers and hiked 16.98% to SAR 34.04, while Saudi Paper Manufacturing recorded the highest losses and declined 10.86% to SAR 8.21.

Dar Al Arkan was the most active in terms of traded values and volumes in week with 340.9 million shares exchanged for SAR 2.18 billion.

As for Nomu-Parallel Market, the main index fell 4.19% to stand at 4,740.49 points at the week ended 27 April.

Nomu’s turnover increased to SAR 23.65 million from SAR 23.54 million a week ago.
