Cairo - Mubasher: Egypt will receive the first shipment of Iraqi oil on 12 May, according to the Egyptian minister of petroleum and mineral resources.
The shipment will be sent from the Port of Basra with 2 million barrels of crude oil, minister Tarek El-Molla said as reported by Youm7.
In April, the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) and Iraq's State Oil Marketing Company (SOMO) signed a deal to provide 12 million barrels of Iraqi crude oil to Egypt for a year.
