Cairo – Mubasher: National Company for Maize Products (NCMP) received a letter from Misr Financial Investments Company (MFIC) ensuring that the initial purchase offer was independently presented by Al Mona Misr International, according to a bourse statement.

The letter clarified that Al Mona did not submit the offer in representation of the Netherlands' Louis Dreyfus Company.

Al Mona only imports yellow corn from Louis Dreyfus, according to a bourse statement.

In early March, MFIC has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with ADM International to sell the former company’s 42.96% stake in NCMP.

Cairo Three A Group made an initial offer late March to purchase MFIC’s 42.96% ownership in NCMP.
