Riyadh – Mubasher: The main index of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) fell 0.69% or 47.81 points to 6,882.51 points at Thursday’s close.

Traded value increased to SAR 3.13 billion ($835 million) on Thursday compared to SAR 2.51 billion ($668 million) on Wednesday.

Traded volume went up to 200.47 million shares from 182.61 million shares.

The capital goods sector led the worst performers and decreased 5.1%, while the retailing and REITs sectors rose 0.23% and 0.09%, respectively.

The materials sector went down 0.41%, followed by the telecom and banks sectors by 0.37% and 0.31%, respectively.

Medgulf dropped 9.8% to record the highest losses, while Asharqiyah Development topped gainers and advanced 6%.

Moreover, the main index (NOMU) of Nomu-Parallel Market went down 0.6% or 26.10 points to 4,384.14 points.

Traded volume reached 240,910 shares, while values reached SAR 6.42 million on Thursday.

Raydan Co was the most active in terms of traded value and volumes with SAR 4.03 million through exchanging 149,510 shares.

Raydan Co led the red zone and lost 2.3% to SAR 26.30, while Development Works Food hiked 8.9% to SAR 84.
