Cairo – Mubasher: National Company for Maize Products’ adjusted financial statements for the first quarter of fiscal year 2017 showed a year-on-year rise of 693% in net profit.

Net profit for Q1-17 reached EGP 91.76 million, compared to EGP 11.57 million for Q1-16, according to a bourse filing released on Sunday.

The company had earlier posted a net profit of EGP 68.8 million for Q1-17, compared to EGP 11.57 million for Q1-16.

The stock rose on Thursday by 1.26% to EGP 44.05.
