Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The value of transfers between operating banks in the UAE declined 2% or AED 66.87 billion in the first four months in 2017, according to statistics by the Central Bank of the UAE.

The value of these transfers amounted to AED 3.287 trillion in January, February, March, and April 2017, compared to AED 3.354 trillion in the corresponding period in the year earlier, the bank’s statistics added.

The value of returned checks to the banking sector amounted to about AED 23.47 billion during the first four months in 2017, the statistics concluded.
