Cairo - Mubasher: The chairman of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX), Mohamed Omran, said that filing candidacies for the exchange’s board of directors will begin on Sunday, 28 May.

Omran added on Wednesday that the elections are set to take place on 22 June 2017.

It is worth noting that the term of the currently serving board will conclude by the end of next month.

Earlier, the Egyptian minister of investment and international cooperation issued a decision regarding the rules and procedures for electing the new board of the EGX by the capital market firms and listed companies.
