Oman oil production drops to 29m barrels in April

Mubasher: Oman’s production of oil and condensates declined 3.22% reaching 29.02 million barrels in April, according to data released by Oman's Ministry of Oil and Gas.

The total volume of exported crude oil retreated 11.04% to reach 22.75 million barrels last month.

China continued to lead Omani oil importers with a share of 95.6%.

Omani’s total production of oil and condensates rose 10.4% to 29.99 million barrels in March 2017.

The price of Oman's oil for June delivery stood at $54.27 per barrel (pb) on the Dubai Mercantile Exchange (DME), dropping 72 cents from its price on Tuesday.
