Doha – Mubasher: Vodafone Qatar reported a 59.4% decrease in its losses for the fourth quarter of 2017 ended 31 March, compared to the year-ago-period.
Losses amounted to QAR 73.18 million ($20.08 million) in Q4-16, compared to QAR 180.01 million ($49.39 million) in Q4-15, according to a filing to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE).
On a year-on-year basis, the company’s losses dropped 42.2% to QAR 269.18 million, from QAR 465.71 million.
Losses per share reached QAR 0.32 in Q4-16, compared to QAR 0.55 in the corresponding period in the year earlier.
Vodafone Qatar’s fiscal year starts on 1 April and extends to 31 March every year.
