Mubasher: The main index of the Muscat Securities Market (MSM) closed Sunday in the red zone after losing 0.14% or 7.33 points to reach 5,407.74 points.

The financial sector shed 0.17% as Taageer Finance and United Finance dropped 4.35% and 2.33%, respectively.

On the other hand, Takaful Oman Insurance rose 1.18%.

The services sector fell 0.16% after Oman National Engineering and Investment lost 2.14% and Ooredoo decreased 0.79%.

The industry sector inched down 0.01% as Oman Fisheries tumbled 0.67%.

Traded volume declined to 7.63 million shares on Sunday against 9.15 million shares on Thursday, while trading volume decreased to OMR 1.53 million from OMR 1.85 million.
