Dubai – Mubasher: The main index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ended Sunday in the green zone, after gaining 0.25% or 8.42 points reaching 3,386.44 points, due to an increase in Arabtec and Dubai Islamic Bank.

The DFM started to level up while traders moved to increase their positions, as Arabtec’s subscription for the capital increase rights issue came to a halt, analyst Mohamed Al Azmi told Mubasher.

The DFM has been affected by doubts about Arabtec’s success in increasing its capital through subscription, Al Azmi pointed out.

The investment and financial services sector increased 0.36% as DFM Company rose 1.8%.

The transportation sector edged up 0.3% after Gulf Navigation Holding levelled up 2.86%, while the real estate sector went up 0.3% as Arabtec surged 10.77%.

On the other hand, Emirates NBD lost 1.7%.

Trading volume increased to 351.83 million shares on Sunday against 236.49 million shares on Thursday, while liquidity rose to AED 312.74 million against AED 195.3 million.
