Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Monday’s trading session mixed; the price index gained 0.03% or 1.65 points to reach 6,762.56 points.

Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices retreated by 0.06% and 0.10%, respectively.

By 9:55 am Kuwait time, the oil and gas segment topped gainers with 0.44%, on the back of Senergy which rose 5.26%.

Meanwhile, the banks sector led three decliners with 0.23%, dragged by Warba which fell 1.6%.

Gulf Franchising was the top winner, rising 19.84% to reach its highest level in 17 months. KFIC led losers with a fall of 8.89%.

The market’s trading value amounted to KWD 1.70 million, after 19.02 million shares were traded through 612 transactions.

Al Salam was the most active stock on which 4.1 million shares were traded, rising 3.42%. Al Imtiaz recorded the highest turnover of about KWD 448,800.
