Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) announced the working hours for the holy month of Ramadan.

Trading sessions for listed securities on the main market (EGX), as well as the Nile Exchange (Nilex) the small and medium capital market, will begin on 10:00 AM until 1:30 PM, noting that it will be preceded by a discovery session beginning 9:30 am for EGX only.

The time to record orders in the deals market for transactions with large volume will be from 9:15 AM to 9:45 AM, according to an official statement issued on Monday.

The trading session for non-listed securities, orders market, over the counter (OTC), will be on Monday and Wednesday only of each week from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM.

As per the trading session for non-listed securities (Deals Market, OTC) will be from 09:30 AM to 1:30 PM, while the trading session for non-listed securities (Central Depository) will be from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, with the time to divide Omnibus Accounts set from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM.

The first trading session in Ramadan on the Egyptian stock exchange will be on Sunday 27 May.
