Riyadh – Mubasher: The general assembly of Buruj Cooperative Insurance Co approved the distribution of cash dividends for 2016.

The company will pay dividends at SAR 0.50 per share, totalling SAR 12.5 million and representing 5% of the nominal value, according to a bourse statement on Tuesday.

Shareholders of record at the end of the trading day of the general assembly and who are registered in the Securities Depository Center (Edaa) on the following day of trades will be entitled to the dividends.

Furthermore, the board’s and auditors’ reports for 2016 were approved, in addition to the amendment of the bylaws of the company to be in line with the New Companies Law.
