Dubai – Mubasher: Majid Al Futtaim Holding plans to increase acquisitions of e-commerce companies, CEO Alain Bejjani said in an interview with Al Arabiya TV channel.

The company is in negotiations with a number of companies, Bejjani added on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum held at the Dead Sea.

The holding firm is working on increasing the digital display of products, Bejjani noted.

The UAE government expected that the value of the e-commerce market will reach AED 36.7 billion ($10 billion) by 2018.
