Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt's investment and international cooperation minister Sahar Nasr said Wednesday that a delegation from the World Bank (WB) will visit Cairo in the first week of June.

The visit aims to supports the country’s plans to set an investment map, in addition to enhance and develop the cooperation between Egypt and the bank and strengthening the role of the private sector, according to a statement.

During her meeting with Asad Alam, the WB’s country director for Egypt, Yemen, and Djibouti, Nasr discussed the procedures of receiving the third tranche of the $3 billion loan programme.  

Egypt had earlier received two tranches worth $2 billion.
